This piece, and that link to the article about bad Franglais in advertising, has put me into a bad situation: snorting loudly with laughter in public and getting coffee up my nose - and some sideways looks. It was absolutely worth it.
Thanks for this. I laughed out loud. I sympathize with the French person who wondered what the tune cost. We should ask what ALL of it cost. The irony, of course, is that what most people outside the country go to France for is not anything that's new, except perhaps in fashion and luxury design. Most people come for what's old.
